Andrew Vang is a Southern California-based musician, composer, and
educator. As a soloist, he has performed with ensembles and organizations
such as the Stratus Chamber Orchestra, Inland Valley Youth Symphony,
Eastvale Symphony, and KCAA Radio Station, among others. In addition to
performing, Andrew regularly showcases his original compositions, often
assembling chamber orchestras to bring his works to life.

As a dedicated music educator, Andrew teaches flute, piano, and
composition, maintaining a thriving private studio. He has also led flute
masterclasses at prestigious institutions like The Colburn Community
School of Music and Stratus Music Academy, as well as numerous middle
and high schools across Southern California.

Andrew’s influence as a teacher is reflected in the success of his students,
many of whom have earned positions in honor bands and youth orchestras,
including the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association
ensembles, the King Karl King Honor Band, the Sousa Honor Band, Corona
Youth Symphony, and Claremont Youth Symphony Orchestra. Several of his
students have gone on to pursue music as performance majors at esteemed
universities.
